Engine 6-4-5 is a 1983 MackCF which was refurbished, with a new body, in 1992.

The Special Operations and Hazmat unit is owned and operated by Lancaster City Bureau of Fire and functions as a support unit for the hazmat team.

The unit is a fully functional engine that is equipped with supplies to aid and assist the hazmat team.

The equipment and supplies include; metering equipment, reference materials, PAPRs, and decontamination equipment.

When called upon the unit normally responds with (3) hazmat technicians.
