Haz Mat 2-9-2 is a 2006 Ford F-550 with a fiberglass Reading work body.
The truck is often the 2nd piece to respond and is designed to aid on all types of calls.
This unit, along side of 2-9-3, can handle a 2nd hazmat incident or replace 2-9-1 when it is out-of-service.
The truck is equipped with a large variety of meters including: MultiRae Plus, Colormetric tubes, radiological meters and WMD metering instruments.
The truck is also equipped with radios, flashlights, resource material, chemical protective clothing, boots, SCBA, PAPR's, non sparking hand tools, chemical absorbents, pneumatic patching system and a mini-fridge for rehab supplies.
